The International Class Program (ICP) at Universitas Negeri Jakarta is an academic program conducted entirely in English, designed to prepare students to compete in a global environment. The program is open to domestic and international applicants who aspire to pursue higher education in an international academic environment.

Students enrolled in ICP also have the opportunity to join a dual degree program in collaboration with partner universities in Indonesia, which allows them to earn degrees from both institutions after meeting the academic requirements.

To provide greater flexibility and accessibility, the ICP entrance examination is conducted through an online written test and interview, which prospective students can take from the comfort of their homes. This online examination scheme is designed to ensure convenience and security while maintaining the academic integrity and quality standards of the selection process.

Applicants are required to comply with the technical and ethical requirements of the online exam, including the use of appropriate devices, a stable internet connection, and a quiet and distraction-free environment during the exam.

  1. Applicants for the ICP must be high school graduates (SMA/SMK/MA) from the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
  2. Participation in a specialized English proficiency test conducted by UPT Layanan Bahasa UNJ.
  3. Fulfillment of the requirements set by Kantor Admisi UNJ.
Document Requirements:
  1. Latest report card/transcript of grades or a certificate stating that the applicant has graduated in a maximum of the last three years (2023, 2024, and 2025).
  2. Passport (for foreign nationals) or KK/KTP/other identification documents (for Indonesian citizens).
  3. TOEFL/IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 550 TOEFL or 6.5 IELTS* 
    *only as a graduation requirement for students who will participate in the double degree program or who will graduate from the International Class Program (ICP) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (FEB UNJ).
  4. For admission purposes, prospective students are only required to submit proof of English language proficiency with a minimum score as follows:
    a). TOEFL ITP: minimum score of 450, or IELTS: minimum score of 5.0, or An English proficiency certificate issued by the UNJ Language Services Center (UPT Layanan Bahasa) with an equivalent minimum score of 450.
    b). Applicants who already hold an official TOEFL ITP or IELTS certificate from a recognized institution with a score that meets the above requirements are not required to take the English test at UNJ Language Services Center (a waiver may be requested).

  5. SAT certificate with a minimum score of 500 for both Math and Reading & Writing sections (optional, but advantageous if available).
Pre-Selection Requirements for Document Review:
  • If the applicant does not have a TOEFL/IELTS or SAT certificate, they must take the TPA (in English) and the English Proficiency Test conducted by UPT Layanan Bahasa UNJ.
  • If the applicant has both TOEFL/IELTS and SAT certificates, they are exempt from taking the written test/examination.

Registration Procedures

1. Create an account on the registration website pendaftaran.unj.ac.id by filling out the “Create My Account” form. Ensure that you use a valid and active email address and phone number as these will be used during the registration for PENMABA International Class Program.
2. Log in to the system on pendaftaran.unj.ac.id using the username and password you registered earlier.
3. Select your desired study program. The total amount of fees you need to pay will be displayed. You can change your selections until you are sure of your choice. Once you are certain, click the save button. After saving, you cannot change your program selection and will proceed to the next step.
4. Print the billing statement. You will receive a bill in PDF format. This document contains a bill number that you can use to make payments via BNI/Mandiri/BTN Teller, ATM, or Internet Banking. Please refer to “Payment Procedures” for details. Note that after printing the bill, you have a maximum of 3 days to make the payment. Failure to do so will require you to restart the program selection process.
5. Download and print the Payment Invoice, which includes the Payment Number and the amount to be paid, for use during the payment process.
6. Log out of the system by clicking the logout button (top right).
7. Pay the registration fee according to the amount stated on the Payment Invoice at a BNI/Mandiri/BTN/ Bank DKI Teller, ATM, or through Internet Banking.
8. Log in to the system again on pendaftaran.unj.ac.id using the username and password you registered earlier.
9. Fill in your personal, parental, and school information. Upload your academic transcript along with a statement of authenticity.
10. Print your PENMABA UNJ examination participant card.
